The last rodeo of the 2016-17 college year in the Central Rocky Mtn. Region finds the Gillette Pronghorns on top of the women’s competition and second in the men’s therefore sending both as a team to the college national finals. Gillette freshman Quincy Segelke and sophomore Riley James Wakefield finished strong and each earned all-around honors for the region. Segelke won the championship round of goat tying Saturday night at the final regional competition hosted by the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Wakefield was the #1 steer wrestler for the night and overall this weekend. Each competes in several events.
