Our Professional Senior Rodeo Association P.S.R.A. Executive Board Member Steve Campbell was born in Salt Lake City Utah. This special cowboy shares a birthday with James Philip Bagian who is an American physician and NASA astronaut. On this day the most popular television show was Death Valley Days, Harry S. Truman was President of the United States and the German husband and wife team Ria and Paul Falk won the mixed pairs gold medal at the Oslo Winter Olympics. Unfortunately, this team defeated the American siblings Karol and Peter Kennedy.
Steve got a high school education at Bountiful High School in Utah. Steve has rodeoed for twenty-one years after he got his horses back from his children and they finished college rodeos. Steve feels like him and his wife, TeRia, have met many wonderful people while participating in the senior rodeos and enjoys the lifelong friendships. Steve also enjoys the opportunity to keep competing but most of all enjoys his horses. TeRia has two children and Steve also has two children. Together they have eleven grandchildren that keep them busy. If you see Steve while on the rodeo trail he is probably looking for his favorite Mexican food. Steve also enjoys his diet coke while driving down the roading and listening to his favorite 80’s Country Music.
